Do you have problems unloading your silos?
With the reclaimers systems from Laidig Systems Inc, a complete, efficient and safe discharge of conical and flat bottom silos is achieved, achieving uniform discharge flows, respecting the FIFO system, which significantly improves product traceability.
Laidig Reclaimers can be active or passive systems, but... what is the difference and how does the flow behave in each case?
Active systems are running throughout the unloading process, keeping the bottom of the silo 100% alive. These systems regulate the discharge pattern (flow) all the time, since, to discharge product, we must start the Reclaimer. These systems are ideal for avoiding rat holing and the accumulation of products on the walls and corners of the silo, so their application is excellent for those raw materials that have low fluidity, for example, flours of animal origin, expeller and flour. of soy.
When we talk about passive systems, these act as a sweeper, since they are only activated when the product stops flowing freely due to gravity. These systems are used with raw materials that flow more easily, such as wheat, where we only need to assist in unloading when there is little product left inside the silo.
