Pet food market: analysis and results

According to the results of the 12th annual global feed survey and the recent Agrifood 2023 report carried out by the Alltech company, the pet food industry has grown steadily in recent years.

In that sense, it reflects that, during the year 2022, pet food production has reached 35.27 million metric tons, which represents an increase of 7.25% compared to 2021.

Of all the industries included in Alltech's Agri-Food Sector Outlook, the pet food sector saw an increase of 6.7%, which is evidence of having recorded the most significant growth. It has even increased in Europe, the region that has decreased its feed production the most in 2022. On the other hand, Latin America was the conglomerate that had the greatest growth between one period and another, in relation to the rest of the regions.
