Industrial valves
Industrial valves are mechanical devices that allow starting, stopping or regulating the flow of fluids, which can be powders, solids, gases or liquids through the use of moving parts, which allow opening, closing or obstructing the passage of the fluid through one or more various conduits. In this sense, they have a great industrial application within the pet food, aquafeed, animal feed, plastic and agro-industry sectors.
Together with Comav we present different options depending on the needs and requirements of your plant:
- Star valves: we can classify them as horizontal-pass and vertical-pass valves. The first ones have a rectangular (VSF) or round (VSTF) flange, used to feed pneumatic conveying under pressure or vacuum with fine products and powders. On the other hand, those with vertical passage have a rectangular (VSD) or round (VSTD) flange and are used for dosing and sealing granulated or powdered products, between two levels at different pressures, with the possibility of applications in pneumatic transport with the suitable accessories.
- Diverter valves: finds a natural application in the pneumatic transport of powdered or granular products. Thanks to its compact shape, it is easy to install and can be supplied in different materials and sizes, to meet design requirements in industrial plants.
- Knife gate valves: they are designed to close the product flow and dose liquids, powders and solids during unloading. They feature self-cleaning blades and include manual and pneumatically actuated options.
All types of valves have MOCA, ATEX and EAC versions.
